During a scan

The submitted public URL, the page returned from it, rendered text and styles, and in-memory measurements exist only while the request is being checked and the report response is being created. The report is returned in that same request flow. To identify what is being reviewed, the report can include short, bounded excerpts and small cropped images of selected public text regions.

After a scan

Readable.fyi discards the submitted URL, browser pages, rendered page content, measurements, and the bot-verification token after creating the response. The latest bounded report remains in this browser tab's session storage so you can leave the report and return to it. It is replaced by the next successful scan and removed when the tab session ends or you clear browser data. The session report does not contain the submitted URL or bot-verification token.

Readable.fyi does not store reports or cropped images on its server or retain full-page screenshots, page HTML, selectors, target-site font files, or submitted URLs. It does not use accounts, account or analytics cookies, advertising trackers, or application analytics.

Service providers

Vercel hosts the site and processes ordinary web requests. Cloudflare Turnstile checks whether a scan submission appears automated and processes browser and network signals for that purpose. Readable.fyi sends the Turnstile token—not the submitted URL—to Cloudflare for verification and does not send the visitor's IP address in the verification call. Those providers process technical request data under their own policies.
